The apostle Paul

The apostle Paul, known as Paul of Tarsus, is a central figure in early Christianity. Born in the early 1st century, he was a fervent follower of Judaism before becoming Jesus' apostle. Paul played a key role in spreading the teachings of Jesus and establishing the churches, particularly among non-Jews.

His letters, which address central themes such as the resurrection of Jesus and the importance of faith, are important doctrinal foundations for Christian communities.

Paul also stressed the importance of faith and community service in his letters. His writings, or Epistles, deal with themes such as the resurrection of Christ and the relationship between the Law and the Gospel.
