The books of the
New Testament

or New Alliance

Protestants, Catholics and Orthodox recognize the same books and classify them in the same order. It was at the end of the 2nd/3rd century that the canon of the New Testament was definitively established.
From a general point of view, there are four main divisions in the New Testament and these divisions, whose central theme is Christ (Luke 24:25-27), can be defined by four key words:
Event the four Gospels
Propagation Acts of the Apostles
Explanation The 21 Epistles
Completion The Apocalypse
These 27 books make up the New Testament.
