About us

The Archeobiblion Association was born of a discussion between several enthusiasts of the Holy Scriptures, its history and the archaeological discoveries that refer to it. A number of scientists in their respective disciplines joined in this sharing, and it was thus that the project for the Bible, history and archaeology was launched, and Théo Truschel, author of the book The Bible and archaeology, published by Éditions Faton, has become the webmaster.

In the world of the Internet, where the most diverse types of information circulate, we offer a site that provides verified information and in-depth knowledge of the field we're passionate about.

Archeobiblion is also available to cultural and religious associations, conferences on subjects chosen or proposed by the Association, depending on the type of audience. To find out how, submit your request on the site's «Contact» page.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the various specialists and technicians who have contributed to the writing of the subjects covered and the on-line publication of the site. Their names appear in certain articles.

The site will be regularly expanded, updated and corrected as new discoveries are made.

Enjoy your reading!

The site team Bible, history and archaeology.
